Reports To: Head of Business Operations
Role Purpose
Define the Retail product strategy and roadmap, ensuring it meets consumer, regulatory, and business commercial requirements. Manage individual product go to market plans, aligning with key stakeholders to ensure successful launch and ongoing lifecycle management. Ensure all key employees are furnished with required product and services information. Report upon core KPI’s.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a customer centric product and proposition strategy designed to deliver against core business KPI’s, and be aligned to the market.
- Confirm all products and services meet associated regulatory compliance, whilst ensuring they meet the full technical requirements of the business.
- Monitor product performance versus agreed key performance indicators, collect and interrogate customer feedback to identify areas for product and service improvement.
- Adopt a market research and commercial led approach to defining and building the product portfolio.
- Create commercially compelling business cases to support all products and services in the roadmap.
- Define the key features, specifications and requirements of the products.
- Full ownership of building and maintaining product documentation.
- Establishing clear strategies for product pricing and positioning, including upsell paths.
- Creating product launch and life cycles plans, which are co-ordinated with key stakeholders.
- Ensure full operational readiness through system and / or physical process implementation, cross functional team alignment, product interfaces and testing.
- Building a product and proposition strategy that will put the business in a leading market position.
- Cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholder departments, including sales, marketing, business operations, customer and network operations, customer service, and IT, to ensure product success.
- Provide product training and technical support to the sales, marketing and customer service functions.
- Product and supplier onboarding.

Qualifications
Graduate and / or Post Graduate qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Relevant Experience
- Experience in a product / commercial management role, preferably within the telecommunications or broadband industry
- Highly commercial, and growth orientated mindset
- Experience in a fast moving, dynamic organisation
- Experience of working across multiple business teams
- Highly influential leadership style
- Strong business case development skills
- Knowledge of basic accountancy practices
